Merchant of Record

We become the legal seller to your customer.

When a customer buys, they buy from ExosPay. We take on the transaction, eligible indirect tax, and compliance — you receive a clean settlement in your currency. Available now for eligible sellers.

What MoR means

One clear commercial flow.

You supply the approved product. ExosPay contracts with the customer as seller of record, receives the customer payment, and remits the amount due to you under your written seller agreement.

01

You supply

You provide the approved product, brand, and customer proposition.

02

We sell

ExosPay is identified as the legal seller in the customer transaction.

03

The customer buys

04

What we take on

The responsibilities behind the sale.

Payment relationship

We manage the customer transaction through regulated payment institutions.

Indirect tax

We calculate, collect, and remit eligible sales tax, VAT, and GST where we are registered.

Disputes & chargebacks

We manage disputes and chargebacks under your written seller agreement.

Compliance posture

We review sellers, categories, and markets before activation and maintain transaction records.

What stays yours

Your business remains yours.

Your product

You build and supply the approved goods or digital offering.

Your brand

Your customer proposition and brand identity remain yours.

Your pricing

You set the customer-facing price, subject to the approved commercial terms.

Your customers

You own the relationship and growth strategy for your audience.

Payments are plumbing

Card payments run on regulated, PCI-DSS Level 1 payment institutions. ExosPay is the merchant of record — not a payment processor — and never stores raw card data.

Written pricing

Pricing is quoted per business, after review. Your rate depends on your product category, volume, destination markets, and the services you use — settlement, and where available, fulfillment, returns, customs, and tax. There is no universal published rate. Approved sellers receive written pricing before going live.

Eligibility

Approved, incorporated, and underwritten.

ExosPay is application-based. We work with a limited number of approved, incorporated businesses. Every account is subject to review — we verify your business, your product category, and the markets you sell into. Not every applicant or product category is accepted. We currently onboard sellers in selected physical-goods and vetted digital categories. Approved sellers receive written terms before going live.
